These are Mom's rabbits- she is a fiber artist and all around creative type person. She had angoras when she was a teenager and is now breeding them again! If you are looking for English Angora and don't see what you want here. Please let us know and we'll see if we can refer you to a friend that might have what you are looking for.
3R's Ringo Star
Blue buck- heavy wool, nice furnishings the only thing we fault him for is we'd like to see a bit better coloring to his wool, and a few more guard hairs to make him easier to maintain!
UPDATE Ringo's color is coming in nicely with his adult coat! He is currently bred to Misty.
Hannah's Hares Haydn
Lilac tort Buck- This little man is everything we want in a buck. Chocolate carrier, heavy wool, terrific compact body. We adore this guy!
Judges always comment on her nice compact body, and good hips. She is growing in her facial hair again after her last litter.
Daughter of Lachesis and Ringo- this gal has a great body and wonderful furnishings. We can't wait to see her adult coat come in.
This little ball of attitude is Nemesis. A favorite of Annie's she is a real live wire.
Atropos has a mind of her own. Usually that results in very weird poses, but since she is destined to be a brood doe we'll let her by with a bit of grumpiness. We have always wondered if she was actually a black or a seal and her first breeding will be to a lilac point so see if we get any answers. She has a nice compact body and good hips.
Bluestone River's Bristol
A recent acquisition, Bristol has the compact body and dense wool we are striving to breed for. She is a Blue Tort and is shown here recently shorn, but she is already starting to pack the hair back on!
Pretty girl, born May 22, 2012, sister to Hesperis. This litle black doe is for sale- asking $100. She has the wonderful easy care coat of her dam and siblings- but we would love to see more density on her.
My very own chocolate bunny! I love the chocolates in the angoras- and its a color we do not currently have in any other breed on the farm. She's a keeper!
Fiber Crazy's Sonya
This is my chestnut doe Sonya. I love agouti patterns and she has terrific banding and a nice heavy coat. If I fault her on anything, it is her hips are not as nice as some of my other angoras. She won two legs at the last Duncan show!
We have about decided Misty is a Lilac instead of the smoke pearl listed on her pedigree. That is totally ok with us because Ringo whom she is bred to, carries chocolate. That means there should be some nice little lilac babies!
